today's classics?

I admit I'm way out of touch with what's popular and cool musically these days. I'm more interested in older things that are interesting or older things that I just haven't heard yet. However, I'd like your opinions on what bands or performers are making music that might be remembered and still played in some ten or twenty or thirty years? Who would you say is very popular but makes music that is either a cut or two above most stuff or is unique enough to not be so forgettable? Or is the good music more obscure, more specialized or underground?

I think Ricki martin's livin la vida loca is going to be remembered for a very long time. Also, Hear and now by Luther Vandross, Last but not least The Cha Cha Slide by I think Ghost made it's rounds

I think Evanescence will be remembered for their unique stile.
